Bunko, or Bongo Whippet as he is sometimes known, is the backbone of the Hussies, it is he who wields his sticks & brushes with such gusto to give the band their swingin' goodtime grooves. Bunko joined up with Jonah back in 2000 to form the nefarious Flipflop Downtown Backstabbers, a 3-piece outfit featuring The Loverat on a borrowed bass!( The Loverat now immortalised in the eponymous song on the Flatfoot Sharpsuit LP) The Doctor is one of the founding members of BATHTURDS (Bath Ukulele Research & Development Society) who meet on the turd sunday of every month at a top secret location to plink their plonk. He is also an ace skiffle bass player with The splendid Hot Potato Syncopators. He got married earlier this year after an evening of debauchery with the Bonnie Prince, and now whiles away his evenings ragging his Cherry Red Mk II Cortina around the B roads of Wiltshire in search of road kill. A quintessential gentleman chap, Bunko has been the driving force of many bizarre & memorable occasions, such as the Ukulele Marathon in 2004 that raised £67.48 for the upkeep of the band's Dakota, of which he is of course, Pilot.

Bunko put paid to our suspiscions that he was in fact a jaffa, when, in 2007, he fathered his bonny daughter Ida with long term partner Charly.
