Dan D is the man who adds the old time boogie to our heady musical stew. He can be heard tinkling the Rhodes piano & squeezing out the thirds on his asthmatic accordion. He is known as Desperanto for his fluency in every single language of the European Union - the result of a lifetime's devotion to digging for samples from obscure Euro pop records for his solo music project Blinker, and private tuition from our trumpeter Jack. Few know that is was he who was the Mastermind behind Norway's 1997 Eurovision barnstormer 'Klinke Kulas' - a strident eulogy in 9/8 time to the joy of losing ones' marbles! Dan is also a keen electronics enthusiast, and has invented several analogue noise machines, ring modulators, synthesizers and entire council housing estates out of climbing frames and straw for his company BOXTHING.

Dan is currently taking a sabbatical from the Hussies to pursue this other career, and feed his delightful son.
