Oisin, or 'Ogz', as he is affectionately known is of Irish descent. As you may have guessed, his name translates from Gaelic as 'an Ocean of Poitin' - that infamously potent potato liquor that harks from the Emerald Isle. In 2001, Oisin won the All Ireland Poitin Pole Vault Competition, and must defend his title in 2005, his record leap was a massive 23'7"! Unlike other competetive sports, the Poitin Pole Vault does not require its athletes to undergo any drug testing - indeed some believe even attempting this event would be impossible unless under the influence of heinous narcotic cocktails. He plays a mean string bass and is known to be a hit with the ladies, earning him the soubriquet of '007' of the double bass. Ogz also plays bass, electric and stand-up, with other great bands such as the electronic dub dance outfit 'Onega Sound System' and deft jazzers such as The Beat-House Band & Cabaret Sauvignon at jam sessions wherever this liquor leaping legend may land...

Ogs is currently residing in the miasmic tenements of South London, and has enveigled ace of bass Tom Tom The Vipers' Son to replace him as our bottom end until the dust clears...
